Matariki

This week Room 7 have been learning about Matariki. We had to make a google drawing about what we know about Matariki. Here goes mine and feel free to comment.

Where Room 7and their family were born

Yesterday James taught us to use My Map. In My Map we had to plot where everyone and their families were born.  We wrote on google doc all the information we needed to plot the correct information. In My Maps we can change the Icon to make it more than just the simple one that they use. We can also add a note that explains where was born there. Below is the map i did feel free to leave me a comment.

Over the past two weeks we have been doing some really cool stuff in class. We have been making book trailers to go with the books we have in our library. What we had to do was select pictures and use our descriptive words to describe our chosen book. How to do the best Blog post comments

During our time with James in Cybersmart this week we were learning how to make terrific blog comments. As a class we brainstormed what we think makes a good comment.  After we did that we watched some videos about blog commenting and then added these ideas to our own Padlet. Here is what we came up with.

My digital footprint

I spend most of my time on google docs because its part of my school day. I think if i took my Chromebook home i would be on youtube or games more cause i get bored at home. Google comes up because its  a part of everything you search up.
